Ammunition and operation
The catalog record describes a reusable tube with a 6 × 2 inventory footprint. Select ammunition through the live MAAWS entry and confirm what is loaded before leaving support. Different launcher rounds may have different intended targets; do not infer their present effect from names or real-world specifications.
A launcher team needs target information, a clear shot, spacing from friendlies and a route to resupply or leave. Avoid carrying multiple specialist rounds when the inventory cost prevents a usable primary or medical kit.
When to deploy it
Use the MAAWS for a planned anti-armor task, especially when teammates can identify and follow up on the target. Do not spend the deployment simply because the permanent unlock is available. A cheaper transport or support kit may contribute more when no armor threat is present.
