Current playtest status
The WARDOGS playtest weekends before Early Access have ended. The paid Steam game launched on September 10, 2026. The official community portal still invites registrations for future tests, but that is not a currently confirmed test schedule or a guarantee of entry.
Completed Beta batches
The August Closed Beta ran August 21–23; the developer’s August 24 recap confirmed completion. Beta 02 was announced on September 1. On September 5, the developer announced the test had become an Open Beta, ending Sunday at 08:00 UTC. These are historical announcements, not current server opening instructions.
Official community signup
community.wardogs.com is the future-testing registration route. See Sign Up for registration and FirstLook for account access. The portal does not replace buying the released Steam game, and a dashboard account is not a Steam license.
Alpha and Beta archives
The Alpha page and Alpha Key page explain older records. The Beta page separates the completed test batches from EA. Do not revive an old guaranteed pre-purchase offer as a promise of future access.
Playing the current game
Use Steam, review PC requirements and follow the download instructions. A leftover Playtest library entry does not establish access to the paid EA game. If login or server joining fails after installation, see troubleshooting.
Source and next update
The official announcement archive is the source for the completed batches. Future testing should only be marked scheduled after a new dated official notice gives a window. This wiki distributes no keys or game clients.

Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
