What this weapon reference covers
This WARDOGS weapons reference is a player-facing armory index. It groups the versioned documented roster by weapon type and keeps four different ideas separate: the weapon category, its ammunition, a one-time access payment, and the cash paid when adding it to a deployment. Open the current vendor before spending because balance updates can change a field without changing the weapon name.

Evidence scope: Mixed evidence means an official update names at least one field or category; the rest of that row remains a versioned record. Versioned records still need a current-client check.
The table contains 34 named weapons across nine practical categories. A linked name opens a full entry; the other rows provide category, price, caliber and access information for quick comparison. “Free” describes the recorded deployment price, not a promise that every faction or account sees the same item in every build.
Find the right category
- Assault rifles are the broad general-purpose route and feed the Assault progression track in recorded builds.
- Submachine guns support closer fighting and are associated with Medic progression; the gun itself does not replace medical equipment.
- Marksman and sniper rifles favor deliberate shots, optics and Recon progression.
- LMGs, shotguns and launchers sit in Support-oriented routes and ask for more planning around weight, ammunition or target type.
- Pistols and special weapons can use Career-wide gates or their own ammunition rules.
Choose a category by task before comparing price. A cheap weapon with the wrong ammunition, no usable magazine or no room for medical equipment is not a cheap complete loadout.
Read the two prices separately
A level gate makes an item eligible to unlock. A one-time cash payment can then add it to the vendor, while the smaller deployment price is paid when the item is placed in a kit. The exact interface can change, but these decisions should always be checked separately.
For a useful budget, add the weapon, loaded magazines, loose ammunition, protection and task equipment. Read the progression guide for access gates and the economy guide before committing a large part of a persistent balance.
Compatibility and statistics
Caliber identifies the ammunition family; it does not prove that every magazine or attachment with a similar label fits. Start from the selected weapon’s current vendor screen, confirm the available slots, then add ammunition and magazines through that interface. The ammo guide, attachment guide and reload guide cover the full loop.
There is no reliable universal “best gun” or build-independent TTK ranking. A meaningful performance comparison needs the current weapon build, ammunition, armor, distance and hit location. Use access, compatibility and battlefield task as the first filters.
Data version and next steps
Official mechanics and named Season 1 changes come from WARDOGS on Steam and the official announcement archive. The remaining itemized roster is a dated gameplay record reviewed on September 16, 2026; check the current vendor for a live price or access gate.
The AK74, M4, SKS and MP5 entries provide fuller purchase and equipment guidance. For every weapon, finish the selection in the current client after confirming its access, ammunition path and complete-kit cost.
Read every value with its version.
Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
