Choose the problem to solve

WARDOGS attachments modify a weapon through supported slots. Begin with the problem—target distance, sight picture, muzzle behavior, support position or magazine capacity—then inspect the exact options offered by the current weapon. Buying parts before the base weapon and ammunition work creates an expensive incomplete kit.

A larger number or higher magnification is not automatically an upgrade for every route. Choose the attachment that supports the expected task.

Check slots before buying

Open the selected weapon in the vendor or customization interface. Record the visible slot categories, select one item at a time and confirm that it attaches without removing a required component. Common categories include optics, canted optics, muzzle devices, magazines, grips, handguards, stocks and weapon-specific parts.

The live slot list is the final compatibility check; a shared rail, caliber or part name does not guarantee that an attachment fits a particular weapon.

Optics and distance

Use a reflex or low-magnification optic for routes dominated by buildings and short transitions. Use magnified optics only when the weapon, sightline and role benefit from them. Check reticle visibility, field of view, zeroing and how quickly the sight picture returns after movement.

Do not assume a scope makes an SMG a marksman weapon or that maximum magnification is useful inside the Control Zone. The maps guide helps connect equipment to terrain.

Magazines and ammunition

A magazine must fit the weapon and hold a compatible ammunition type. Capacity, inventory size and unlock level can make a larger magazine a trade-off rather than a free improvement. Confirm the actual ready magazine in the loadout and carry loose ammunition that matches it.

The ammo guide explains the weapon–magazine–round relationship. The reload guide explains why an empty compatible magazine still does not provide a ready reload.

Count the full kit cost

Attachments can have their own access payment, deployment price, weight and inventory effect. Build the essential kit first: weapon, ready magazines, ammunition, protection and task equipment. Add optics or handling parts after the player can afford to repeat the deployment.

When comparing two setups, record the same weapon, ammunition, armor target, distance and build. Otherwise a recoil, damage or ADS claim describes different conditions.

Build a compatible setup

The current four detail pages provide safe starting points: AK74, M4, SKS and MP5. Use their slot descriptions to plan the build, then confirm each part on the selected weapon in the current client.

Official balance changes are tracked in Steam announcements. Because compatibility is exposed per weapon and can change, the current customization screen is the authoritative place to confirm a specific combination.

Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
