New structures and hammer requirements
Choose a position that supports the active objective, can receive deliveries and has a defensible core. Assign the builder and transport before buying the FOB package.

The MG Nest is a manned M2 Browning emplacement; the Large Shelter covers assets. Medium hammers now contribute less per swing, critical spots give smaller bonuses, and Large Hammer progress per swing is unchanged. Hammers cannot breach doors or gates; use a Halligan Bar.

These values consume Build supplies, not wallet cash or Ammo supplies. They are not destruction bounties: the notes separately list an L81 Mortar destruction cash reward that differs from its construction supply cost.
Receive the right supply type
Build supplies fund structures; Fuel powers drills and other systems; Ammo replenishes weapons; Mechanical supplies support repair and service. Infantry rounds are separate from the FOB Ammo stock.
01 Read the missing-resource warningA valid blueprint can still stop when the local stock lacks the required supply. Read the warning, check the FOB stock on the map and request the named resource instead of adding more unrelated cargo.

Unload or transfer cargo and verify that the relevant FOB stock increases. Ask for the exact missing resource and leave a usable vehicle approach. The illustrated earlier interface is a workflow reference; follow the current binding shown by the client.

The maximum drill uptime now matches capturable towers. The replacement cooldown after spawning increased substantially, but no exact cooldown was published. Fuel stock alone does not prove that a drill is active.

The mortar also gained a firing animation that reduces its firing rate. Plan Ammo deliveries before building an emplacement; purchase and construction costs do not include unlimited firing.
Placement, defense and rewards
Barbed wire and sandbags can sit on Bremmer walls. Foundations now fit slopes, stairs and walls; unfinished structures collapse when support is lost. Tank traps have surface restrictions. CIWS is more effective against light cover than heavy fortifications. Barbed Wire kills no longer award cash or XP.
Keep gates closed, distribute important assets and verify support and access after each addition. FOB supply assists are split among assisting players. Use economy for reward conditions rather than treating construction as guaranteed profit.

The tables come from the official Season 02 notes. Earlier FOB price $7,500, Large Hammer price $2,400 and access Support level 8 and $75,000 remain historical Season 1 records, not restated by this patch. Check the live vendor before paying.
