Current PS5 answer
WARDOGS PS5 is now listed in Team17’s platform plans. The official launch announcement gives a console window of 2028. The currently available Early Access release is the PC game; a future console announcement does not mean the PS5 version is downloadable now.
What the official sources establish
Team17’s press hub lists Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for WARDOGS. The official launch announcement separately states the console window. Together these supersede the older statement that no PS5 plan was confirmed.
What remains unknown
A specific console release day, console price, cross-play, cross-progression and console performance modes are not established by those two announcements. Do not infer all of them from the platform list. We have not verified a current PlayStation download or preorder route here.
PC and console dates are different
Steam Early Access launched on September 10, 2026. That is a PC milestone, not a PS5 release date. The release timeline keeps the two events separate, and the Steam guide explains the version currently available.
What to do now
If you only play on PS5, follow dated publisher or developer announcements for the console release details. If considering PC, check requirements before purchasing. Do not install a file advertised as an unofficial console build.
