Ammunition and optics
The record lists semi-automatic fire, 7.62×54 mm ammunition and a 6 × 2 footprint. Confirm the live magazine and optic slots through the SVD customization screen. Do not borrow damage, drop or magazine behavior from the real weapon or another rifle that shares the cartridge label.
Choose magnification for the sightline you can actually hold while remaining useful to the team. More magnification can narrow awareness and increase the complete-kit cost.
When to consider it
Consider the SVD when faster follow-up shots are more useful than a bolt-action path and your position still supports spotting, movement and the current Control Zone. Avoid treating range as permission to leave the active fight entirely.
