Use community.wardogs.com for the official WARDOGS playtest sign up. BULKHEAD linked this domain from Steam, and Team17 linked it from the reveal announcement, providing two first-party checks. Registration does not guarantee selection and never requires payment, a Steam password, or a Steam Guard code.
How to register
- Open the official community portal.
- Choose Register rather than Log In if you do not have an account.
- Complete the requested profile and consent steps.
- Verify any email sent by the portal.
- Return to the dashboard using the same sign-in method.
The form and required profile questions may change as testing needs change. Use truthful account information and the same sign-in method when returning to the dashboard. Pending confirmation / 待确认: no public source states when every waiting-list account will receive a decision.
What happens after signup
Registration creates a community account and historically placed players into the WARDOGS testing waitlist. If selected, the player must follow the instructions in the official invitation email or dashboard. Waitlist does not mean invited, and it does not automatically place a Steam license into the Library.
Signup versus Steam access
The community portal supports long-term community and future-test registration. The old pre-launch Beta offers have ended; a future test needs its own eligibility notice. Check the playtest hub before assuming a test is currently scheduled.
Account and email checks
- Use an email address you can access.
- Check spam and promotions folders for verification or invitation mail.
- Log in using the same provider used at registration.
- Confirm that any invitation link points to an official WARDOGS, FirstLook, Steam, Team17, or BULKHEAD property.
- Keep screenshots of errors but redact personal data and all product keys.
Safety checklist
Never buy a place on a waitlist, pay a third party to "boost" selection, or give anyone your Steam credentials. This wiki does not operate the portal, approve accounts, issue keys, or host downloads. For community announcements, use the verified Discord guide and confirm major access changes on Steam.
Read every value with its version.
Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
