Equipment is more than a weapon
A complete WARDOGS kit combines a primary weapon with protection, storage, medical supplies and task tools. The highest-cost gun can still fail when the player has no backpack for spare magazines, no bandages after the first fight or no hammer and supplies for the construction job they intended to perform.
Use the current vendor categories and check each item’s level, permanent unlock, deployment price, weight and inventory size before confirming the loadout.
Protection and carrying capacity
Armor and helmets protect different areas, while vests and backpacks change quick-access slots or storage. Armor “level” describes an equipment tier and should not be confused with Career level. Heavier protection and a larger inventory can also affect movement or leave less room for task items.
A practical sequence is protection first, then enough storage for ammunition and medical supplies, then optional capacity. Treat any fixed damage-reduction claim cautiously because armor, ammunition and hit location all affect the result.
Medical equipment
Medical play includes self-care, helping wounded teammates and completing revives. Check the current prompts and access requirements for bandages, resuscitation tools and advanced Medic items. A gun associated with Medic progression does not include those tools.
Keep medical items reachable and leave enough inventory space to use them. If you intend to revive, move with players you can reach and clear the immediate threat before interacting with a downed teammate.
Tools for building
The FOB item, hammers, supplies, repair or breaching tools are separate equipment decisions. The official launch update moved the Large Hammer to Support level 8 and $75,000 and raised its deployment price to $2,400. An old builder list can therefore show the correct workflow and the wrong budget.

A practical purchase check
Before deploying, ask:
- Can the account access every item in the kit?
- Are the weapon, magazines and ammunition compatible?
- Is there storage for spares and task equipment?
- Can the total price be paid again if the deployment fails?
- Does every optional item solve a problem expected on this route?
- Is the final weight acceptable for the role?
Remove an optional attachment or excess ammunition before removing the medical item, magazine or tool that makes the chosen task possible.
Build a complete kit
Use loadouts for task-based purchase orders, ammunition for the magazine loop and progression for access. Official equipment and progression changes are tracked in Steam announcements; exact inventory effects should be confirmed in the current vendor.

Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
