What the Season 1 changelog covers

The official Pre-Load Live and Season 1 changelog prepared WARDOGS for its September 10, 2026 Early Access launch. It replaced balance tuned for weekend tests with a longer progression curve and collected launch-era economy, unlock, vehicle, voice, stability and moderation changes in one announcement.

Progression and XP bands

The update slowed levels 10–20 and flattened the curve from level 35 onward. Official examples include level 10 moving to 35,000 XP, level 20 to 250,000 XP, level 35 to 500,000 XP and level 50 to 1,000,000 XP. It also reduced air-vehicle kill XP from 300 to 250 and sharply reduced XP for selling supply-crate items worth less than $75.

Read the progression guide before turning any one threshold into a complete leveling plan. The announcement says each season can use a different XP curve and item order.

Economy and construction changes

The Forward Operating Base vendor price increased from $2,500 to $7,500. The Large Hammer deployment price increased from $1,600 to $2,400, while its Support access payment rose from $25,000 to $75,000 and moved from Support level 7 to level 8.

The Artillery Tank access payment increased from $400,000 to $500,000. Several scopes, supply crates and Driver-track vehicles also received access-price changes. Separate these permanent access payments from the smaller price paid for each deployment.

Vehicle and equipment unlocks

Heavy Tank moved from Career level 35 to Driver level 35. Artillery Tank moved from Career level 55 to Career level 90 and $500,000. Driver changes also moved the URAL, Kodiak Assault, Dune Buggy, Kodiak Flatbed, Large Supply Crate, URAL Covered, URAL Attack and Humvee Minigun to new levels.

Career unlock changes included the Large Backpack, 7.62×54 mm AP, 5.56 mm AP and Deagle. Medic moved the PP-19 drum magazine, while Support moved the Large Hammer.

Vehicles, voice and gameplay fixes

The changelog applied a Z20 Lakota balance pass, fixed sluggish pitch and reduced chase-camera rattle. Helicopter input damping began applying across input devices, vehicle turrets received an operator rotation-speed limit, and tank aiming received a DPI fix. Large 155 mm and 122 mm ammunition and flare deployables were made more space-intensive.

Voice reliability work addressed failed joins, stale channel recovery, push-to-talk targeting and communication status.

Performance, crashes and moderation

Launch work included frame-generation controls, fewer shadow-cache refreshes, additional GPU crash information, several crash-path fixes and improved startup recovery messages. Reporting received a tracking system and weighting for repeated or bad-faith reports. The server browser and host-server route also received fixes.

These changes describe the launch build. For a current crash or connection problem, follow the troubleshooting sequence and check for a newer official notice.
