Rocket role
Use the AH-6R for deliberate passes against targets suited to the available rocket pods. Target identification matters more than firing volume. Avoid hovering, repeated identical approaches and attacks that cross friendly movement without coordination.
The catalog record identifies dual LAU-68-class rocket pods. It does not establish current rocket damage, splash radius, ammunition count or armor interaction.
Before deployment
Practice takeoff, landing and sensitivity before carrying the full cost into a live fight. Choose a target caller, approach direction, exit direction and rearm plan. Watch fuel and damage indicators and leave while the aircraft can still reach support.
