Quick answer

The MP5 is a recorded 9×19 mm submachine gun in the Medic progression route. Its compact inventory footprint and full-auto option suit closer support work, but purchasing it does not provide bandages, a resuscitator or other medical equipment. Plan the complete support kit before paying the access fee.

Magazine family20-, 30- and 50-round MP5 records; current unlocks require a vendor check

The Medic gate, one-time access payment and deployment price are separate. Magazine capacity can also be progression-sensitive, so confirm which 20-, 30- or 50-round option is actually available to your account in the current build.

Ammunition and equipment

The MP5 uses 9×19 mm in documented records. Build a ready magazine in the weapon interface, add spares to a backpack, and carry loose ammunition only if you can refill those magazines between fights. A compatible magazine must contain rounds; pressing reload does not create ammunition.

Reserve inventory space for the items that make the support role useful. A primary weapon, several magazines, armor and every optional attachment can easily crowd out bandages or revive equipment.

When to consider it

Consider the MP5 for closer routes where a lighter, faster-handling primary leaves room for support equipment. It is less suited to exposed long sightlines than a rifle or marksman weapon. Stay near players you can help and use cover to close distance instead of forcing the weapon into a task it was not bought to perform.

No current tier rank is claimed here. Armor, ammunition type, distance and patches all affect a damage comparison, while a support player’s value also comes from revives and positioning.

Compare another option

The AMP-9 and PP-19 Vityaz are cheaper recorded SMG steps in the weapon roster, while the Super-45 sits later in the Medic path. Compare the current gate, magazine access and total medical loadout rather than buying the highest-level SMG automatically.

Use equipment for medical categories and loadouts for a task-first support kit.

Official launch changes include a moved PP-19 drum-magazine unlock in the Season 1 announcement, showing why magazine access must be versioned. MP5 item fields are versioned gameplay records reviewed on September 16, 2026 and require a current vendor check.
