Current key status
There is no public WARDOGS Alpha key distribution now. The Closed Alpha has ended, and the developer said the available allocation of externally distributable Steam keys had reached its limit. Current access information belongs on the Steam page, not in old key posts or reseller listings.
If you already received a key
Only use a key delivered through a traceable official invitation. Confirm the sender, domain, event name, and test dates before activating it. Do not post the key in a screenshot, stream, support forum, or Discord message because a Steam product key can normally be redeemed only once.
How to activate on Steam
- Launch the official Steam desktop client and sign in to the intended account.
- Open the Games menu.
- Choose Activate a Product on Steam.
- Follow the prompts and enter the key inside the client.
Activation attaches the license to that Steam account. It does not guarantee that test servers or downloads are open at that moment. Pending confirmation / 待确认: no collected official source promises another Alpha-key wave.
Invalid or duplicate errors
For Invalid Product Code, recheck easily confused characters and verify that the key is for Steam. For Duplicate Product Code, make sure the license was not already activated on another account. Also verify that the correct Steam account is open and that the associated test is still active.
Who handles support
Steam Support can explain client activation errors. The developer, publisher, or campaign operator that issued an external key normally handles selection, replacement, or event eligibility. Keep the invitation email and a redacted error screenshot, but never publish the full key while asking for help.
Scam warning signs
- A seller asks for money for a "guaranteed" Alpha key.
- A page asks for your Steam password or Steam Guard code.
- A stranger asks you to screen-share account recovery.
- The sender uses a look-alike domain or shortened link with no official cross-link.
- The offer claims this fan wiki distributes keys.
WARDOGS Wiki has no keys and never brokers access. It does not verify private sellers or exchange codes between players. Current official access routes are documented on the playtest hub.
Read every value with its version.
Official changes use first-party announcements. Item fields without a current official table remain labeled as dated gameplay records until they can be checked in the public client.
