Quick answer

The SPH-2 is the documented artillery vehicle associated with the official Artillery Tank category. Season 1 moved that category to Career level 90 and raised the one-time access payment to Career level 90 and $500,000. Its value comes from coordinated indirect fire, not driving it into a direct tank fight.

Keep the permanent access payment separate from the recorded deployment price. Confirm both in the current vendor because the official changelog names the category rather than every model field.

Official category change

The launch update moved Artillery Tank from an earlier Career gate to Career level 90 and increased the access payment to $500,000. That makes it a late progression goal and supersedes Beta unlock tables. The update also changed the space used by selected artillery ammunition and capped vehicle turret rotation.

These changes affect the whole deployment plan: unlocking the vehicle is only useful if the crew can afford ammunition, reach a firing position and receive target information.

Before deployment

Choose a protected firing area with a route out, then agree on how targets will be called and confirmed. Keep the vehicle away from the direct approach to a contested FOB, leave room for resupply and avoid firing without a clear team purpose. A spotter or squad call is more useful than guessing at an unverified map coordinate.

Do not rely on a firing solution or calculator unless it states the current map scale, ballistics build and elevation rules. Use observed impacts and a spotter to correct fire in the current match.

Performance and support

Recorded fields describe a three-seat armored artillery platform with a 155 mm-class main gun and machine gun. Old speed, fuel and range figures are not treated as current measurements. Use the live ammunition, fuel and damage indicators, and relocate when counter-fire or aircraft make the position unsafe.

The building guide explains ammunition and repair logistics. The maps guide explains why an external map image alone is not enough for an accurate firing solution.

The Career 90 gate, $500,000 access cost, ammunition-space change and turret update come from the official Season 1 changelog. The model identification and deployment price are versioned gameplay records reviewed on September 16, 2026.

Use the L2A6 for direct heavy armor or a cheaper logistics vehicle from the vehicle roster when the team first needs supplies and transport.
