Use the Lakota when a full squad or useful crate needs to cross the map faster than ground transport. A September 14 Season 1 vehicle guide records two crew, eleven passengers, optional logistics crates and two flare charges.
Official game material confirms that transporting teammates is rewarded. Fill seats where possible, name the landing area before takeoff and give passengers enough warning to dismount together.

Practice takeoff, landing and emergency approaches before risking the purchase. Scout the route for anti-air threats, land behind cover rather than inside the contested center and leave enough space to lift without striking structures or trees.
