Quick answer

The Galil is a recorded Assault-track rifle using 5.56×45 mm ammunition with semi-automatic and full-auto fire. Its documented $2,200 deployment price places it between early starter rifles and the later M4, while the recorded Assault 10 access gate makes it a progression purchase rather than a recruit default.

Field-test noteA September 3 creator test highlighted controllable recoil and magazine capacity; treat that as pre-launch experience, not a balance guarantee

Treat the level, one-time access payment and per-deployment price as separate decisions. Reaching Assault 10 does not pay the recorded $35,000 access fee, and unlocking the rifle does not include magazines, ammunition, storage or protection for each life.

Ammunition and setup

Start in the current weapon screen and select a supported 5.56×45 mm magazine. Add matching loose ammunition only after the rifle has a loaded magazine and the backpack has space. Attachment availability is build-specific, so confirm every optic and muzzle choice in the current customization interface.

A September 3 controlled creator comparison highlighted the Galil's manageable recoil and magazine capacity. That test was recorded before Early Access and supports a use-case description, not a current damage or time-to-kill claim.

Battlefield role

The Galil fits general infantry that expects both close movement and medium-range fire. Semi-auto conserves ammunition and helps with deliberate shots; full auto gives the player an answer inside buildings or during a short push.

It is still a rifle inside a persistent-cash economy. Avoid carrying attachments and excess ammunition that raise the replacement cost without changing the task.

Compare another option

Use the free A-91 when the budget is the main constraint. The AK74 is another earlier recorded purchase, while the M4 costs more and sits later on the Assault track.

The weapons directory keeps these price and caliber records together. The ammo guide explains why shared caliber does not guarantee shared magazines.

Data version and sources

The field test, vendor image and catalog fields are community evidence reviewed on September 16, 2026. They identify the weapon and its documented use, but do not establish current recoil, damage, magazine capacity or attachment compatibility. Confirm those fields in the active build before making a permanent access payment.
