Protected logistics role
Use the Covered variant when the route needs URAL cargo capability and exposed passengers would be a serious liability. A September 14 Season 1 vehicle guide describes armored cover over the standing area while retaining supply-crate use.
Protection does not complete the delivery. Check the destination's Build, Fuel, Ammo and Mechanical stocks, bring the requested pallet and confirm that unloading increases the FOB inventory.
Before deployment
Plan the same three stages as the base truck: safe outbound route, clear unloading space and a return path. The larger purchase and later Driver gate make an abandoned or blocked truck more costly than a basic taxi.
Coordinate passengers so someone can watch the stop and help with crate transfers. Follow current prompts for vehicle logistics, dropping and unloading rather than assuming an older key binding.
Compare another option
The URAL opens earlier and costs less for pure supply runs. The URAL Attack adds a mounted M249 at a later gate, while the Kodiak Flatbed moves lighter loads faster.
Use building and logistics to match the vehicle to the FOB's actual resource shortage.
